Lager is a pale, 'bottom-fermented' beer of moderate strength, originating in Central Europe. Lagers generally are smooth, elegant, crisp, clean, light and bubbly with a golden colour. Lagers are the most popular category of beer in the UK and indeed in most countries across the globe.
