Springhead Brewery

The brewery began its life in 1990 as the smallest micro in England in a tiny outbuilding adjoining the original brewer's house in Sutton on Trent in North Nottinghamshire by a bend in the River Trent known locally as Springhead. Their beers soon attracted critical acclaim from both the trade and the public alike and after only 3 years the brewery moved to larger premises and new equipment to enable 10 Barrels to be brewed at one time. Since the appointment of Head Brewer Shirley Reynolds in 2001 the brewery has gone from strength to strength and in 2004 a new 50 Barrel plant was commissioned to meet the growing demand for our beers. The beers, many of which have an English Civil War theme, are delivered to pubs within a 100 mile radius and are available nationally through leading wholesalers.

Please note that all of our cask ales are polypins and therefore do not require dispense equipment and as such will be posted out to your address. Allow 48 hours for delivery minimum and remember that settling time is typically 24 hours so please leave a minimum of 3 working days for your order.
