01/03/10 As this page hasn't been updated in ages, again, it is about time to let you know what updates we have made. We have been busy adding some top notch new beers to our site to offer you increased choice. We have added such great high quality European beers as:

In addition we have expanded the UK range of kegged ales to include Boddingtons, Calders 70/-, Calders 80/-, and MacLachlans Best. And we have also added Asahi Super Dry the superb Japanese lager to our selection.
22/01/09 It has been a long time since this page was last updated so thought we better get onto it with the new year and all! We have added Magners to our list of draught products for all cider fans out there, so no need to go and get cases of bottles to quench your thirst.
Additionally we have updated the sports fixtures list to include all 2008/09 SPL games along with all international fixtures for Scotland, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and England, including 2010 Qualifer games. All of the Edinburgh 'Gunners' fixtures for 2009 have also been updated.
A further issue which has been resolved is the home page flash navigation menu not displaying correctly in Firefox, probably as a result of browser changes in Version 3.
24/08/07 It has been a very busy summer for Kegless and we have yet again increased our equipment capacity to ensure that we can satisfy even more clients. We have also been busy improving the user-friendliness of the website with a number of improvements including easy to add glass hire making ordering even faster. We have also included a new fully automated staff hire section so ordering staff is much easier and quicker.
We have also introduced an exciting new service allowing you to customise your beers with your own branding, simply enter your required text and an image and Kegless will design high quality tap badges to suitably mark any occasion.
27/04/07 In the last few weeks we have been doing some major update work on the site to make it more attractive and more importantly user-friendly. - Firefox friendly - It came to our attention that customers using the Firefox browser were missing out on some important pages as the flash navigation was not displaying. This has now been fixed.
- A splash of colour - We felt that many of the pages were a bit bland and have spice things up with some nice piccys.
- Automated discounts - Any customers with discount codes from promotional material and so on can now redeem them automatically as part of the ordering process.
- Gift certificates now available - A nifty new feature now means that you can purchase electronic gift certificates. These can then be emailed to anyone who can then simply use them to book a keg hire. The certificates can be of any value and if less than the value of the hire, the certificate recipient can quickly and easily pay the outstanding amount online so they need only visit the site once to place an order.
- Group buying made easy and risk free - By using the gift certificate system each member of the group can buy certificates to the value of their contribution and email it to the nominated group buyer, upon receipt of all members monies the buyer can place the order. This ensures that the nominated buyer is not left to stump up all of the cash taking the full bank account hit, there is no risk of members failing to pay their share and no awkwardness having to chase monies form friends. Win-win all round!
- Instant postcode based calculation of delivery charges - By developing the Delivery Charges Calculator customers can now instantly see what, if any, their delivery charge would be. By developing this simple tool, customers now just have to enter their postcode for the charge to be displayed instantly, no awkward calculations or the inconvenience in emailing or phoning for a quote.
- Delivery area and charges clarification - Customers can now easily see on an interactive map exactly the free delivery area and the total delivery areas making ordering a faster, confusion free, process.
- Development customer-friendly troubleshooting guides - Whilst we provide a careful and professional service unforseen circumstances and so on can occasionally cause problems with draught beer dispense. In addition to 24 hour freephone support, we have developed step-by-step troubleshooting guides, written in laymans terms to ensure a swift resolution to any problem that may be encountered.
- Pour the perfect pint - We have included step by step instructions on correct pouring techniques, which in addition to making you look like a pro can minimise wastage...giving you more pints to practice on!
- Mid-week discounts - These give those flexible with regard to their keg hire period the opportunity to save £15 and it means that you get an extra days hire free. This can mean a premium quality beer for the same price as a bog-standard lager.
- Sports fixtures - We have also added a number of sports fixtures to the calendar such as the super sevens Edinburgh leg to keep you up-to-date.
- Expanded product range - With a greater choice of beers than ever before, we have improved further by offering a range of glassware for hire and purchase. Over the next few weeks we will be expanding the range of products offered further to include cases of spirits amongst others, all at excellent prices...naturally!
23/01/07 To help plan for future events that you wish to tie in with sporting fixtures such as football or rugby kegless has now added a second calendar with every key fixture. Included is: All Hearts games All Hibs games All Scotland games (football) All Six Nations games All Rugby World Cup 2007 games All Edinburgh 'Gunners' games
By using the Google Calendar functionality you are able to add the fixtures to your own calendar at the click of the mouse. We hope that you find this added functionality to the site useful. Click here to check the sports calendar.
