Independent description...
The beer pours, a light-golden hue, with a thin, white beer head which leaves uneven lace around the glass. The carbonation is kept to the medium level, which I welcome. The nose contains very understated note of lime-like hops, and some hidden undertone of lager malts. The taste is not too bad though; dry mouthfeel of very light citrusy and floral hops which gradually retreats to the back, followed by a dryish, water-biscuity and bready flavour of malts, leaving a soft, clean and mild-bitter finish at the back of the throat. The mouthfeel tends to be both refreshing and creamy, but the bitterness is simply too timid. A fairly average beer, nothing too stand-outish. This beer was clearly meant to be had with spicy (Indian) food as it would make a refreshing contrast.
