Pours a clear bubbly gold with a small diminishing frothy white head. Aroma’s just O.K., at best, there’s something slightly off-putting about it: Mild, slightly tart apple juice, some sugary sweetness, straw and dry white wine all mixed in a not-so-appealing way. Flavour’s a bit better: Slightly sweet, ripe apples along with some wood and mild, dry white wine qualities. Light bodied, slightly sticky mouthfeel. Well carbonated. Would be O.K. on a hot summer day, if there weren’t better options available.
