Official line...
It is enjoyed for it's bitter sweet taste, distinct caramel and burnt roast character and subtle hop nose.
Independent description...
Nice chesnut brown beer with a good looking creamy white head. Quite subdued aroma, malty slighly smoky. Smooth malty taste with some fruity undertones, slight sour notes. Quite thin on the palate but not really watery. A true, easy to pound session ale.
